Paper Ballots

Ballot Preview

Here is a sample copy of the NI4D paper ballot.

The question is, can we hire professional circulators to circulate ballots and solicit donations at the same time? If enough donations come in to compensate circulators then the election would become self-funding. We are eager to test this promising idea.

We need $1500 to get started. Professionals will get paid $1 per vote and $0.25 for validity verification. Some additional money is needed to cover printing costs and for scanning completed ballots. However, we hope that citizens who vote will also donate to fund the election and that we end up with more money than we start with.

If this trial works then we anticipate being able to scale up quickly and get the whole election done!

Note: We are not trying to recruit people to circulate ballots at this time. We are trying to find out whether the election can be self-funding because we can't imagine collecting 80 million ballots solely on a volunteer basis.

Please help fund this exciting experiment.
